Located in downtown Atlanta, our School is situated one block from the State Capitol Building and within the heart of the state government offices. Our School is part of a vibrant, urban campus that offers many opportunities to be involved in the complex and important issues that are part of human service delivery. We are pleased that you are interested in learning more about our program, and invite you to learn more about our degree programs, faculty members, student body, research areas, and relationships to the community.

Our School offers an accredited B.S.W. since 1981 and we began our leading edge M.S.W. program with its sole specialization in Community Partnerships in 1998. Our excellent faculty members, who teach the courses and do research, are committed to working towards solutions in collaboration with our community partners and our students. This focus gives students varied choices for combining classroom and experiential learning. If you are currently thinking about a career in social work, we hope that you will consider our School for your educational experience.

“The community partnership focus offers the opportunity to be immersed in the world of collaborative work. This is an invaluable skill set because as social servants we have to be able to provide resources for the people we are serving. This program helped me master and understand the interconnectedness and importance of developing partnerships needed to meet the needs of those we serve. ”
